Last year Shaina Lee Photography came to me with a concept for an upcoming boudoir shoot. She was envisioning a Parisian inspired setting which we decided to infuse with some natural elements. Boudoir was a bit of a new adventure for me. It was a chance to shed some light (and clothes) on all that is the beauty of the female form. **Let the record show that any clothing shed was that of the lovely model and not the set stylist. So the concept: crisp whites, soft textures with pops of blush pink and greenery because life is better with fresh flowers. We kept the team small and intimate in Shaina's bright and airy studio. Now one of the reasons this team is one of my favorites to work with: no one even questioned me when I walked through the door with a giant branch. They just get me.
This shoot has such a wonderful balance of soft sensuality with "work it girrrrl!" sass.

Side note: When you have an amazing team who is having a ton of fun you end up laughing...ALOT. I genuinely believe bad jokes are part of the creative process. Either that or I just have an abundance of bad jokes. But seriously how amazing is Suzanna's laugh.
