Well, fast forward to a few months down the road when Rachel and I connected to shoot some of her amazing stationary. I immediately recognized the girl with brown hair (again hello). So I was super excited to work with her incredible art.
Here is the thing about Rachel. She is genuinely as sweet at her work. She is a super mom by day and an artist at nap-time. And moms out there - her IG stories will be super relate-able and hilarious.
“Much of my process is inspired by my two kids. Seeing the world thru new eyes has been a wonderful privilege and one that I do not take lightly. In my work I am simply trying to celebrate the things that really make their eyes shine. - Rachel”
She describes her work as “joyful minimalist watercolor landscapes & illustrations” and I think joyful is the perfect word.
